6.7L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V8
When duty calls for max performance, the 6.7L Power Stroke turbo diesel V8 delivers with excellent low-end horsepower and torque, quick throttle response, and optimized fuel efficiency. The 6.7L is a four-valve engine built with an electric-actuated variable geometry turbocharger, forged steel pistons, 36,000 psi-rated fuel injectors, and joined to a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Power Stroke V8 is standard on the F-450 and available on the F-250 and F-350.
7.3L PFI Gas V8
Delivering the most horsepower of the Super Duty gas engine options, plus balanced performance through the power band, the 7.3L gas V8 engine is engineered for consistent strength and frequent hauling. This naturally aspirated two-valve push-rod V8 features a cast-iron block, a forged steel crankshaft, and cross-bolted main bearings for exceptional durability. The 7.3L V8 is available on F-250 and F-350 models and is paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission.
6.2L Flex-Fuel Gas V8
The 6.2L gas V8 is an excellent performer that’s ideal for everyday driving and occasional towing. Its flex-fuel capability enables you to maximize your MPG or performance depending on your needs — gasoline can provide better fuel efficiency while E85 or an E85-gas blend delivers an increase in power. The 6.2L flex-fuel gas V8 comes with a six-speed automatic transmission on F-250 models or a ten-speed automatic transmission on the F-350.
